9th Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition
Incorporating: 9th Vietnam Int’l Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition

For the 9th time in Ho Chi Minh City, VTG2009, Vietnam International Textile & Garment Machinery Industry Exhibition successfully ended on Nov. 8, 2009, more than 150 exhibiting companies from 20 countries displaying latest technology and trends; the event attracted more than 9418 professional buyers and visitors attending the event. VTG2009 is made possible by the joint - organizers of Ministry of Industry & Trade - Vietnam National Trade Fair & Advertising Joint-stock Company, Paper Communication Exhibition Service, Yorkers Trade & Marketing Service Co., Ltd., Chan Chao International Co., Ltd. and Taiwan Exhibition & Convention Association

The 4 days event opened its door from Nov 5 to Nov 8 at SECC - Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. 150 participating companies with 275 booths, occupying more than 5000sqm exhibition ground. Exhibitors came from more than 20 countries including Britain, China, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, and U.S.A. Most exhibitors and visitors are satisfied with the overall presentation and outcome of the exhibition; the feedbacks were positive. With the vast information exchange and knowledge gained, to keep up with the rapid growth, and high economic growth and industrial products and advanced technologies. VTG 2009 had lived up to its reputation of an interactive venue to challenge the global trend, and future direction of the textile & garment industry.

The exhibition attracted a total number of 9418 visitors with 7852 domestic visitors and 1566 international visitors from 35 countries around the world. The show acted as an industry representative which show cased the latest garment, textile, and apparel technologies and accessories. It attracted industry representatives, entrepreneurs, government representatives, and potential buyers. This event continues to represent the iconic venue, for garment and textile related industry to explore new markets in Vietnam.

The show reached new milestone with the addition of “VTG2009 fashion show” sponsored by Heinz Walz GMBH & Nantex Co., Ltd. The show showcased the latest trend including famous brands from, Levis and CK forecasting the fashions of the years to come. Another main attraction is the seminar hosted during VTG2009. The subjects were: Japan market – New Opportunity for Garment Export. By Jetro, VCCI, UNIQLO/SUMITOMO, and “Potentiality of Vietnamese Export Garment in 2010” presented by Amcham, Eurocham, and AGTEK. Each conference was packed with audiences who were eager to find out the latest news and updates with the industry.

Due to the success of the event, most exhibitors were prompted to reserve a spot in VTG2010. VTG2010 will be hosted on Oct. 27 – 30, 2010 in the same prestigious SECC Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center.
